Panera Veterans Day
Veterans Day is a time to say thank you to the men and women who served, and many restaurants mark it with free food or special deals. If you’re wondering about Panera Veterans Day offers, the answer depends on your local café.
Panera Bread does not run one nationwide deal, but many franchise-owned cafés give veterans and active military a free item, like a bagel with coffee or a breakfast sandwich.
Veterans Day 2026 falls on Wednesday, November 11. In this guide, you’ll see what participating cafés offered in past years, what ID to bring, whether Panera has a military discount, and how to check what your nearest café is doing this year.

Does Panera Bread Do Anything for Veterans Day 2026?
Panera Bread veterans day offers depend on who owns your local café. Panera’s corporate team has not announced a national 2026 offer. In past years, large franchise groups have run their own deals at the cafés they operate, usually for one day only and often during breakfast hours.
If your café joins in, the offer is usually:
- Free for veterans and active-duty military
- Valid on November 11 only
- Dine-in or in-café only, not delivery or app orders
- Limited to one item per person
Panera Veterans Day Offers in Past Years
These are real offers from participating cafés, reported by local news. They show the kind of deal to expect, not a promise for 2026.
| Year | Where | Offer | Rules |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | Covelli-owned cafés in Ohio and Pennsylvania (Boardman, Canfield, Niles, Warren, Austintown, Hermitage) | Free bagel and a regular hot or iced coffee | Dine-in only; show military ID, discharge papers or wear uniform |
| 2023 | Doherty-owned cafés on Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island | Free breakfast sandwich until 10:00 AM | Proof of service; after 10 AM, a coupon for a free pastry on a later visit |
Most past offers were breakfast items, so plan to visit in the morning. You can see what’s included on the Panera breakfast menu.
